# Best Dog Lick Mats Source: https://apartmentpetpicks.com/best/best-dog-lick-mats Updated: 2026-10-20 Publisher: Apartment Pet Picks. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://apartmentpetpicks.com/how-we-research#our-score Licking is naturally soothing for dogs, which makes a lick mat a handy tool in a small home. Spread with a soft treat, it settles an anxious dog and keeps them quiet through the day. We looked for mats that suction firmly to a wall or floor, use food-safe textures, and pop into the dishwasher when they are done. They also slow down fast eaters and give you calm minutes during grooming or a home-alone stretch. ## Picks ### 1.
