# Best Pet Poop Bags for Apartment Dogs Source: https://apartmentpetpicks.com/best/best-pet-poop-bags Updated: 2026-10-20 Publisher: Apartment Pet Picks. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://apartmentpetpicks.com/how-we-research#our-score Poop bags are the everyday essential for cleaning up after your dog, and quality matters more than most owners expect. Apartment dogs relieve themselves on shared sidewalks and courtyards, so a bag that tears or leaks turns a routine walk into an embarrassing mess in front of neighbors, and a well-sealed bag keeps odor out of your elevator and trash. The best bags are thick enough to resist punctures, sized large enough to tie off cleanly, and easy to open one-handed while holding a leash. When choosing them, look for leak-proof material, a roll that fits a clip-on dispenser for hands-free carrying, and unscented or lightly scented options. Compostable versions suit owners who want a greener choice. ## Picks ### 1.
