What we liked
- + A single 31.5 inch pillar with natural jute fiber gives a clear surface for scratching in a small footprint.
- + Sturdy base helps prevent the post from tipping, and a replaceable dangle toy adds some play.
- + Useful for redirecting cats away from household carpet and furniture, and it only needs spot cleaning.
Trade-offs
- - A basic single post with no perch or bed, so it offers less to do than a multi-level tree.
- - Jute rather than sisal, so cats that prefer a sisal feel may need to be introduced to it.
