What we liked
- + Mesh retracts fully and there is no bottom rail, so the walkway stays clear when the gate is open
- + Listing describes one-hand operation with a two-step double lock to keep the gate closed
- + Adjustable lower bracket is described as fitting around baseboards, and anchors and screws are included
Trade-offs
- - Hardware mounted with screws, so renters need permission to drill or must patch the holes at move-out
- - A 34 inch mesh panel suits calm dogs and cats, but the listing highlights give no weight or push rating
