What we liked
- + Programs on the unit with an LCD screen and buttons, so no WiFi or phone app is needed
- + Dual power: plugs in or runs on 3 D batteries, which the listing says last more than 180 days
- + Spring-lock lid, sealed food outlet and desiccant are described as keeping kibble fresh and paws out
Trade-offs
- - Batteries are not included, and the feeder is built for dry food
- - 3L hopper is smaller than the 4L feeders in this guide, and there is no camera or app control
