What we liked
- + Open-top layout with a 6.8 inch entry height, pitched in the listing at kittens, senior cats and multi-cat homes
- + App offers automatic, scheduled and do-not-disturb cleaning modes plus usage records
- + Waste bin is built into the unit, a design the listing says avoids drawer-style pinch points
Trade-offs
- - Among the pricier picks here, well above the entry-level open-top models
- - Open top leaves the litter bed visible, and the app only works on 2.4GHz WiFi
