What we liked
- + Holds 3L of dry food and can be set for up to 8 meals a day with precise portions, which suits a regular schedule while you are out.
- + Records a 10 second voice message that plays at feeding time, a nice touch for calling a pet to the bowl.
- + Dual power: a 5V DC adapter plus 3 AA batteries (not included) as backup, with power-off memory for settings.
Trade-offs
- - Dry food only, so it does not suit wet or fresh meals, and it has no app or camera for checking in remotely.
- - Little-known brand with a keyword-heavy listing, and the 3L tank is smaller than the big-capacity models in this guide.
